BRUTALITY COMING YOUR WAY
COMING SOON: THE BALLAD OF SEVEN BASTARDS
Scheduled for release in Autumn 2025, The Ballad of Seven Bastards is a dark, twisted, and brutal novel set in the Old West.
Copper Creek, a small mining town in the mountains, is Elder Munroe’s seat-of-power. His goal is to rid the area of natives and create a New Jerusalem. However, the Elder and his flock have a dark and disturbing secret, a past misdemeanor which could see them all hanged.
When Elijah Black, a well-meaning outsider, arrives in town, he sparks a series of events which tear the town apart, even setting the Elder’s men against each other.
Brutal, offensive, and dark as pitch, The Ballad of Seven Bastards has violent retribution dripping from its pages!

BLOG: DID MY FATHER INFLUENCE POL POT?
I’ve never been backward in talking about my strange upbringing. Indeed, some of it has been documented in print! However, for me, there remain unanswered questions, even to this day.
When Pol Pot hit the headlines in the late 1970s, I’d just left home. As the tales of his atrocities were unveiled to the Western world, I couldn’t help wonder if he’d ever found himself in an Irish pub in Kilburn and ended up sitting next my old man. Why? Because Pol Pot pretty much imitated the regime my father imposed ever since I first met him in the early 1960s…
BOOK AND FILM REVIEWS!
I’ve started to post a few book and film reviews as part of my blog! I don’t set out to be a critic; these are just my rambling thoughts. You probably won’t agree, but it takes all sorts to make a world!
AND JUST FOR FUN…
Many of you will be aware of The Cunterbury Tales, which was written to raise money for The Lingen Davies Cancer Fund. Well, the total raised was over £2,800 (US$3,700), and as a final part of it, I made a video which helped raise a few more pennies! It even includes me signing an original song which features in Crust Investigates.
I’m not proud of it, but even Mrs C thought it was funny, so here you go. Enjoy, and thanks to everyone who supported the initiative.
